18C QIANLONG PERIOD PAIR DIAMOND SHAPE CHINESE PORCELAIN VASES W/ TEAK BASES NR listing is for a pair of 18th century Qianlong period Chinese diamond shape porcelain vases with carved teak stands. The vases themselves measure 5 ¼ inches or 13.5 cm high, and are 3 inches or 7.5 cm at their widest.
The vase is in four panels with a continuous landscape wrapping around them. They feature mountainous landscapes with trees and people nestled against the water’s edge and people fishing in the water. The vases sit in hand carved teak wood bases which complement the pieces nicely. The vases are signed on the underside in red for the Qianlong period (1711-1799).
The vases are in very good condition for their age and have minor craquelure to the glaze. One vase has a very minor chip in the top rim. Please see many photos for more on the look and condition.
