Gold metallic and silk brocaded altar cloth dating to the 18thc with Italian or French origins. Featuring the ark of the Covenant in the center with decorative foliage and pineapple finial. With gold metallic fringe on 3 sides and gold metallic trim on 4 sides, backed in a raspberry colored silk that has staining and losses. As found with damages thru out!including amazing fascinatingearly darning, see images.

Measurments: 54\" x 15\", with a total of 3 1/4\" of trim and fringe.
