Offered for purchase

ONE

18th Century Deep Round Cut Molding Plane. The body is 9 1/2\" long, the iron is 1 11/16\" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 1/2 oz unboxed. The cut is just about 180 degrees. Not signed as to the maker, there is a user mark on the toe. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. Note this is straight, any bending you see is because of camera lens distortion. The body has some stains and dings and there is a chip off of the top edge of the shelf in front of the mouth. The mouth looks like it was opened a little at some point. The sole has some scratches and dings but nothing too bad. The wedge is good. The iron may be a replacement, I can\'t say for sure. The cutting face has some light pitting but most of that is away from the edge. This ain\'t minty but for the age it sure ain\'t bad and these older planes have not been showing much of late, at least around these here parts. A collectible 18th Century molding plane for sure!

All items for sale unless otherwise noted are purchased and in most cases professionally restored by me. I take pride in offering quality items. Not everything is perfect, but it is as I say it is. Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month. If any or all of the above bother\'s ya, well then we ain\'t got no reason to be doing business.

RULES OF THE GAME - REVISED 03/04/14 - READ ME!

I do my best to ship items as cheap as possible. The shipping method is determined by weight and in some cases, the overall size of the item. Both and PayPal charge sellers a fee on what they charge for shipping. That is 12% for domestic and 13% for international. Those feesalong with the cost of the packing materials is factored into the shipping charge. It costs me more in fees to send a 2 lb package to California than it does to Ohio and a whole lot more to send the same package overseas and I cannot afford to pay those costs. This is a full time business for me and not something I do in my spare time. I do not ship via UPS or Fedex (and they sure ain\'t any cheaper).I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases. Just add the items to your shopping cart and request that I send an invoice, which I will do as soon as possible. does not refund the fees on shipping even if I do a partial refund and I would much rather have that money to buy more items to sell.PA buyers must add 6% sales tax or provide an exemption certificate.International buyers are welcome, however international shipping is EXPENSIVE. On average 2 to 3 times what the listed USA shipping cost is and Items that are over 4 lbs packaged weigh ARE very expensive to ship. I only ship to certain countries and if there is not a shipping cost showing on an item, email me first before buying it. Customs Declarations are at face value and I do not mark items as gifts.I only reciprocate response received unless you are a very regular customer. I leave response about once a week or so. Don\'t get excited if I don\'t leave you response right away. Just easier to sit down and do a bunch at a time for me.

Any questions, feel free to email me. However, please keep in mind that I am NOT on-line 24 hours a day. Thank you.
