18th Century Georgian Brass Seamed Pusher Candlestick For Sale
18th Century Georgian Brass Seamed Pusher Candlestick
A single Georgian brass pusher candlestick, with a cannon barrelled stem. The stem is seamed, the base does not appear to be. Height is 7.25 inches. Diameter of the base is 4 inches. Condition. The side knob or button is missing. There appears to be a steel spring inside the gap. The round plate for the candle to sit on is present. The stem is otherwise sound with no repairs etc. The base has one small split and the edges are a little distorted but would tease back into a better shape. A nice early stick and worth some simple repairs. Dates to between 1760 and perhaps 1800. My wife also sells on under the name 'merryeclectic' and purchases from both our sites can be combined to help reduce postage costs, so please take time to have a look.
