18th Century Pewter Wrigglework Plate (1777):

An 18th century pewter plate measuring 9 1/4\" in diameter by Daniel Gottlob Reinhard, Master in Zittau, 1773 to 1806. The plate is decorated all over with a wrigglework design including the 3 embossed panels to the centre of the plate. The front rim bears the owner\'s initials of \'D M\' and is dated \'1777\'. On the opposite side is \'No 3\'. The back of the plate bears 3 marks being 2 master marks and 1 town mark which includes the date of mastership. In excellent all round condition with no repairs and of a medium silver grey finish.
