An Exquisite 18thC Bilston EnamelPatch Box.

This exquisite deep blue enamel patch box has two white doves with the wording "Efteem (Esteem) The Giver".

Hinged lid with the original inset mirror.

As with most of these patch boxes the mirror is either missing or cracked & the box is normally cracked & chipped but this one is the finest example I have ever had.

The condition is excellent with just rubbing to the gilt script & a small chip to the base rim, foxing around the edge of the mirror.

Measurments

Length 4.2cm, Depth 3cm, Height 2.2cm.
