A lovely 18th.Century Embroidered Picture

Depicting a Crowned Female Saint (?) at the feet of The Infant Christ who is being held by the Madonna, an Angel blows a trumpet in the background.

Probably Italian Late 18th Century

Label to reverse gives provenance as Clermont Hall Thetford Norfolk.

Executed in coloured silks on original stretcher, General fading and Staining, some minor worm/pin holing, a 1.5cm split upper right by Madonnas head being the worst area of damage, considering the material and its age it is in my opinion in pretty good condition.
