She is GUARANTEED to be a genuine antique Schoenhut character doll dating from the early 1900s and made in the USA . She is GUARANTEED to be on her original fully spring jointed child body with extra joints at the ankles and with all original FINISH! What a sweetie-pie!

This pouty character Schoenhut has a carved wood socket head on a fully jointed spring strung wood body with joints at the shoulders elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Blue painted intaglio eyes, closed pouting mouth, original dark brown human hair wig in braids.

She is charmingly dressed in a sweet vintage pale tangerine dress with thin horizontal blue and white stripes, navy blue sash and hair bows, antique straw hat with applied cloth flowers.

MARKS:Oval Sticker on the back:

CONDITION: Generally Excellent. Original facial paint is intact and mostly clean with some fading and just a couple of chips at the upper lip and nose tip (see all photos). This is a rare head with the early pouting features. The original body still functioning and posing properly and with original finish and one baby finger on the right hand broken off. A really wonderful Schoenhut with so much appeal!
