This sale is for a large box lot of flatware. Most if not all is silverplate, and there are a few matching patterns and some serving pieces. All as is as found, see box lot info below and photos.

We apologize for having to provide so much information, we realize it is time consuming to read it all, but because items are consigned and we are generalists, not experts or collectors, we want to make sure buyers are aware of how we list items.If you choose to place a offer to us that means you are OK with our system.

Because we may not have knowledge of or information about these items, something that may be important to you may not have been obvious to us so we apologize for not having mentioned or checked that. We welcome correctionsif you see something is not described right or is not complete in an sale, we can always add the info if need be. Photos are as much a part of the description as the verbal information and what is in the photos is what is in the sale (except props). The items we sell are almost always used and sold as is as found no returns unless otherwise noted.However if we make an error in our listing and an item is not as described because we miss obvious damage or if we state an item works and it does not then of course we will make it good. But noreturns for any reason after 3 days from delivery, that gives you more than enoughtime to open and inspect your item(s). Expect normal age appropriate signs of wear and use, sometimes odors, dust, etc, these items are often attic and basement estate finds.

FOR BOX LOTS OR LARGE LOTS:Box lots tend to get us in trouble sometimes because buyers do not read this section. Box lots are not described or inspected item by item and if getting a box lot with some items that are not working or have damage we did not see is going to bother you but you offer anyway that is not a reason for a return, we make no guarantees on condition for box lots. The purpose of our box lots is to move larger quantities of items for our consignors, items that we would not be able to list in any other manner for a variety of reasons. Box lots allow us to list items that we would not otherwise list because their individual value would not be worth it, or because it would be too time consuming to list items individually, or because the fees would add up too fast, or because items are being sold for parts, or because we have no idea how to check or describe some items. We may not catch some damage because we truthfully are not looking for it closely, we don't know if everything works because we are not testing items, and we realize there is little or no information because we are not describing box lots, that is the nature of our box lots. Box lots have some benefits for the buyers, you get a substantial shipping savings over buying items and paying for shipping one at a time, you get access to more of a variety of items we would not list otherwise, and sometimes you find a treasure in the mix! If you have a question on a particular item we will try to answer it. Photo or scrap albums, flatware sets, and other sales that contain many individual items are also considered box lots. If any of this is a problem for you then our box lots are probably not for you.

SHIPPING INFO:Specific packing requests need to be made before we pack the morning after the sale.Before we send an invoice we like to check Fed Ex and USPS regional rates to see if we can save some money that way - not all available choices show in the shipping calculator provides.Until an item is packed and weighed after the sale we are only estimating shipping costs. A reasonable fee is added to the exact shipping for all sales,this fee is based on and goes towards the insurance (all items are insured thru a third party insurer), and handling.

If a package is lost or arrives damaged our insurance requires the buyer to sign a claim statement. Do not throw out the original box or packing materials just in case, not likely it will need to be inspected but just in case! We only ship to the address that is on the PayPal payment, and it needs to be confirmed or verified. Somepackages are not scanned along the way, that does not mean your package was not shipped. Items shippedmedia mailthat are rejected by the post office on the buyers end may require the buyer to pay additional shipping for parcel post. Since you would have had to pay that anyway if we had used parcel post, the additional expense is not our responsibility and will not be reimbursed. Use of media mail for magazines or catalogs is at your own risk so parcel post is recommended for those items.

COMBINED SHIPPING:We combine shipping whenever possible. Sometimes the savings is substantial, sometimes it is not much at all because the box got bigger and it affected the rates.Some items can’t be combined safely, or the box size is gets too big and/or too heavy. may send an invoice or sale notification after the sale indicating shipping is free,that is not the case at all,it is a glitch in's systemand a dollar amount will not show until we pack and calculate combined shipping. When we do offer free shiping it says that in the sale, it would not give you an estimate. Also for Buy it now listings where there are multiple purchases, 's shipping total is often incorrectand it may be more or less than what you paid. Until we pack, measure a box and weigh it, neither we or can possibly know what the shipping will be. But once we figure it out we will be fair, we get paid for selling an item and do not need to pad the shipping beyond the above mentioned small fee.

INTERNATIONAL buyers ONLY:Sold price can change the shipping method we will use.Any item that totals over $499.00 in shipping and sold price has to be sent Express International,and if between 249.00 - 499.00 we require priority international mail. We have to protect our consignors merchandise. The sale sold price is the only amount that will appear on the customs form as the item value, it has to match the insured amount,we will not change the value on the customs form for any reason. Any import duties or taxes you may have to pay on your end are your responsibility and not additional shipping, do not ask us to put a lower price on the customs form.First Class International has little or no tracking ability so if you want more traceability please request a shipping upgrade. If you are not able to get a shipping quotein the sale that means the box is larger than what your country allows for priority or express and we can not ship to you reasonably, or we may be able to ship in two packages if the sale can be split up.

Payment should be received within 5 days of sale end.

Sales tax is required for all NY shipments.
