We are Frank and Doreen who scour old bound volumes of magazines to find articles that will be of interest to specialists in a wide range of subjects, excepting those of a scientific nature for which we profess little knowledge. We routinely sell to museums and specialist organisations who are able to find in our limited listings, quality items not available elsewhere on the internet and reasonably priced.

We live in DORSET, a county in southern England near Salisbury and Stonehenge, that has a long coastline and rolling hills. Our Jurassic coastline is world famous for its beauty, cliff top walks and fossils; somehow or other we have managed to avoid having any motorways built acrossour wide open spaces, which makes it a special place for us to live. Our county's claim to fame includes the novelist Thomas Hardy who wrote the Mayor of Casterbridge in 1886. Also, Trade Unions and Scouting originated here - farmhands @ Tolpuddle started a worker's union in 1834 and Baden Powell held his first scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907. So if you do decide to buy from us, you have an idea of where we are and where your purchase is coming from.
