RARE TEXTILE 15 x 12 inch pillowThis rare textile was woven by pastoral Yoruk people in western Anatolia. It is called locally \"oklawali\". The wools are all dyed with natural pigments including indigo. Our pillow features blue indigo and green indigo. Tufts of fibres add dimension as they emerge from the surface, Age has given this textile a glorious gradient within all the natural dyed wools.This piece has been sewn into a pillow with chocolate brown velvet reverse and velvet piping. The tag reads Sun Bow Trading Company Charlottesville, Virginia.The textile measures 12 by 15 inches, 1\' x 1\'3\", 38cm by 30cm.
