Antique charm celebrating the coronation of Edward VII. This was made in 1901 by William Vale & Sons of Birmingham. It is a double-sided photo locket charm. One side features King Edward VII and the other side features Queen Alexandra. The photos are set behind beveled glass discs. The frame and original jump ring are 9ct gold.
The frame is fully hallmarked including the maker’s mark WV & S and Birmingham marks for 9ct gold made in 1901. The jump ring is also marked  [.375]
Diameter of charm is 13/16” diameter
In overall very good condition with no damage to the gold or glass, the outer edge of each photo has some discoloration which you can see if you use the zoom feature on our pictures.
