This sale is for an original 1904 First Edition of American Big Game In Its Haunts published by the Forest and Stream Publishing Company for the Boone and Crockett Club. There is a frontpiece illustration of President Theodore Roosevelt, a founder of the Boone and Crockett Club. The 5 ⅞” x 8 ⅜” hardcover book has 497 pages plus numerous full-page illustrations. The book is bound in a burgundy cloth with silver imprint and the cover pictures the trophy of a large Bull Caribou. The overall condition is Good to VG with cover wear, wear to the spine text, and significant wear to the upper right corner of the front cover & underlying board. The inside pages are VG with age toning near the edges, soiling on a few pages, ad the illustration by page 377 is slightly loose from the binding (see photo detail).
