1905 Presidential Inauguration Invitation Theodore Roosevelt/charles Fairbanks:
1905 President Inauguration Ivitation Theodore Roosevelt & Charles Fairbanks
This is in used condition and shows signs of it's age such as yellowing to the paper and rips on the envelope. This invitation package envelope is postmarked April 14, 1906 at 3:30pm out of Washington D.C. It was mailed from "United States Senate" to James W Murphy Official Reporters Office U.S. Senate Washington D.C. The back of the envelope has the numbers "954" stamped on it. There are 2 lithographs one is Theodore Roosevelt April 14th 1906 and the other is Charles W. Fairbanks April 14, 1906. The invitation reads "The honor of your presence is requested at the ceremonies attending the Inauguration of the President of the United States, March fourth Nineteen hundred and five Please present the enclosed card of admission" The following names are on the invitation: John C. Spooner Chairman, Nelson W Aldrick, Augustus G Bacon, John Dalzell, E.D. Crumpacker, John Sharp Williams Committee of Arrangements. I could of spelled some of the names wrong as it's hard to read the writing. This is a very nice original piece of history from Roosevelt inauguration complete with the postmarked envelope it was sent in. These this old don't come around very often. Please see pictures for details on conditions and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!
