I SHIP WORLDWIDE
IMPORTANT offerDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO offer ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH buyer I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY . now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale (see my response), however, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an sale or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in offerding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage.. I never charge a "handling fee". I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately - not ship - and then be scored negatively by for not shipping soon enough. Please note that over the next three weeks I will be offering more than 100 pieces of antique European and American porcelain and glass with sales scheduled to begin nightly after 6:00pm Eastern time. Be sure to check my other sales. Offered in this sale is a wonderful ANTIQUE German imperial regimental porcelain beer stein from the Prince Wilhelm 112th regiment. It measures 11" tall overall x 4" in diameter across the base. The stein alone measures roughly 7 3/4" tall. The front of the stein is decorated with the symbolic representation of the 112th Regiment. The names of the members of the regiment are written in a vertical band on either side of the Flags. There are two scenes painted in panels on either side of the handle with verse in German underneath which I have not translated. There is a lithophane on the base featuring a man and two women seated at a table - likely in a pub. There is a band of text in German around the upper rim which makes reference to Prince Wilhelm. I know almost nothing about these early regimental steins, however, this would appear to be a genuine "period" piece dating to the very early 1900s. The condition of the porcelain stein is excellent with no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. I will say, however, that the pewter hinge is very loose and moves side to side. There is a hairline crack in the pewter near where it meets the handle (see 12th image). I would think that this would be well worth having stabilized. A nice addition for any Regimental Stein collection. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This piece is being sold WITHOUT A RESERVE as long as there is an opening offer. High buyer to pay $8.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States.INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international packages under four pounds are mailed International First Class mail unless you specifically request Priority Mail which is, of course, more costly. Items over four pounds must be shipped Priority Mail. Items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I would like to kindly ask international buyers to understand that I have no control over the delivery schedule. In most cases packages arrive within 7 - 10 days, however, packages sometimes can be delayed by foreign customs. I would appreciate you not scoring me low on for something out of my control..
