For sale is an antique 1907-1908 Waltham Vanguard Up-Down wind indicator size 18 pocket watch (Vanguard 23J, M#1892, Wind-Indicator, 5P, OF). This is an open face, stem wind, lever set railroad grade,ANR5 dial watch. The watch features a Gold Plated Philadelphia Twenty Year Guaranteed case with screw bezel, original triple sunk enamel dial, blued steel hands, up-down wind indicator, seconds hand, mineral glass crystal, and movement with 23 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, & raised gold jewel settings. The serial number on the movement is 16126482. The watch has been serviced by a AWI Master Watchmaker Certifiedhorologistand it is functioningperfectly and keeps very good time. The case bezel was at some point cross threaded and it opens and closes with a very smallbit of difficultly. The case back is worn. The dial has 1 minor hairline.
