CONDITION:...Overall it is GOOD ...Some flaws but still the book is complete and covers are tightly attached, hinges are not cracked...some normal shelf wear to the covers, but they are still attractive...spine is good, light wear, shows the gilt tile well...leather is good....marbled end papers front and back are very good, clean....the book is complete... no disbound or missing pages, no loose pages....all illustration are there and most are in in very good condition......not torn up or ripped.....no underlining in the book.......PLEASE see photos.... insides are good......however there is some old water damage which has caused some discoloration on some pages, (not all) and a few of the pages had been stuck together......pages are not dry or brittle, paper is smooth and supple.... no foxing...not an ex library book..... NOTE: If you expect perfection or want this book for resale and need it to be "very good", then this book may not be you, so please offer on it as a very rare and still beautiful book with fabulous illustrations and hard to find information. I think it is still in good reading condition and is very scarce..... Thank you.
