Hello dear friends, offering for sale just now~ an extremely rare, originalantique circa 1910-15 Vienna Secession Wiener Wekstatte era luxury leatherdocument folder. A really rare piece decorate with art Noveau mountedmetal relief panel and figurative wood pattern embossed on soft lamb skinpainted in grey. A great example of Wiener Art Nouveau applied arts objects.The metal chase work alpaca relief originally made by Austrian Art Nouveauartist engraver Georg Klimt, signed in down left. Georg Klimt (1867-1931)brother of Gustav Klimt. The relief alpaca metal alloy framed with silver platedbrass frame, depicting beautiful maiden in flower garden inspirited by beauty ofroses flowers. The chase work relief decorated with inlay in metal colored glasscabochons on sides and on lady\'s necklace where the cabochons in the necklace are indeep cobalt blue with minor transparence. Cabochons on sides in turquoise bluecolor. Inside the folder is lined with dark grey satin/silk and have some pocketsin different sizes. Marked with embossed in textile in gold lettering with Imperial Austrianeagle and the name and address of work shop \'\'Zum Stock in Eisen\'\' WienKarntenstrasse I\'\'. This was atelier of S.Chiger Royal Court supplier forbags and leather. The folder in all original condition as is found in privatecollection in Bulgaria. Minor traces of age, the framed and relief are aredetached from the leather in upper left corner only, easy to be repaired byspecialist. Also some dark tone spots on the metal due to age and some ink spotson the leather outside at front and on the back. Inside is all completed andshiny without torn or damaged places. Rare and highly decorative object can beeasily displayed on the wall if you want. Now all completed as is found withoutany restorations or interventions.

GeorgKlimt was working together withhis Brother Gustav Klimt and very offend Gustav Klimt helping to his brother inhis works, can you imagine that this prices possibly was in the hands of the oneof the most important artist in the world. Gerorg Klimt creating some of theframes to his brother and many other decorative objects, also it was member ofWiener Wekstatte group and also creating secessionpieces together with Koloman Moser and Josef Hofmann.Georg Klimt, was a notable artist in his own right. He attended the ViennaSchool of Applied Arts and in 1896 opened his own business. Starting in 1897,his goldsmith and embossed works were regularly included in exhibitions at theAustrian Museum for Art.
