THIS IS A RARE \"CIGAR STAND\" INSIDE HISTORIC & ICONIC HOTEL TOKEN FROM SAN DIEGO....TOUGH TO FIND THESE OLD HOTEL U.S. GRANT TOKENS......A VERY HISTORIC PROPERTY, BUILT BACK IN 1910 NAMED AFTER PRESIDENT GRANT, ETC

These old tokens from San Diego are just tough to find today. Yes... it is large city today..but for some reason, old SAN DIEGO exonumia is just tough to come across...a neat old pc.

This token is in great shape, and has not been cleaned….COULD NOT IMAGINE FINDING A NICER ONE....STILL HAS LUSTRE.

THESE OLD TOKENS FROM SAN DIEGO ARE JUST TOUGH TO FIND TODAY...THIS CAME OUT OF A SAN DIEGO COLLECTION PUT TOGETHER MANY YEARS AGO

If you look in the old 1976 California token book (Kappen) this token is listed under San Diego, books high, and tough to find old HOTEL GRANT tokens, likely issued near opening of this historic property (on national historic register)

Trade token is brass, round, about 23mm in diameter, and it displays nicely.(please see pictures in gallery) Token has not been cleaned, strong details.

While many old Southern California tokens are in \"dug\" condition... this is a gorgeous old token.
