1910s. Very pretty Art Nouveau Diamond and Ruby 18 ct ring. Probably American.
Very very very pretty and stylish Art Nouveau ring. I think it might be American as it is stamped inside 18 k and 14 K. Set in its middle with an old cut diamond and on the sides with two brilliant cut rubies. Under strong magnification, the rubies appear a bit rubbed and show some sign of wear. It looks perfect under the naked eye. The mille grain style setting is exquisite and consists ofwhite and yellow gold. It has a maker's mark but I cannot identify it: J. H. LTD. Weight: 3.2 grams approx. Siz e: Q or 8 1/4. No repairs and no damage. Really stylish. I have taken my pictures with and without a flash. I have opted on themain for a neutral background (rather than black) which is less obvious if not so flattering. Much better than it looks on my pictures. Very sharp and neat.
