An original S.S. "Romantic" First Class Passenger List datedApril 29, 1911 ;with very good advertising for the new White Star Liners "Titanic" & "Olympic". Includes Olympic's Maiden Voyage plus a full page pictorial ad for Olympic and Titanic.Describes Olympic as “This superb steamer, which has unrivaled Smoking Rooms, Veranda Cafe, Palm Court, Gymnasium, Squash Raquet Court, Turkish Baths, Plunge Bath, etc., etc.” The inside back cover has a full page illustration by Montague Black of the Olympic/Titanic at sea, with the caption: “The largest steamers in the world Olympic, Triple Screw---Launched Oct.20, 1910--- 45,000 tons and Titanic --- Building at Belfast --- 45,000 tons.” The New York-Cherbourg-Southampton Service sailing schedule is also including Olympic for the first time, sailing along with Majestic, Adriatic, and Oceanic. This covers her scheduled sailings until the end of November 1911.Full page ad announcing the amenities and the Maiden Voyage of “Olympic” as ‘will sail from Southampton, & Cherbourg (via Queenstown) to New York on Wednesday, June 14th, 1911, and regularly therafter.”Booklet contains 22 pages (includes cover). Glossy colorful cover illustrations with beautiful artwork.All in all, very good condition, slight separation at lower spine of covers, bottom staple is loose with some minor wear and handling marks. Very scarce piece of ephemera.
