1917 Ford Dealer "fordson/ Oliver" Tractor & Implements Metal Advertising Sign, For Sale
What a rare sign, not a repo,this came from the Family or Mr Munger who has lived in the area for 90 years plus.This adorned the barn wall for 4 wars. Went out way back,only Ford Dealer for miles. Henry Ford was smart, he not only had dealers in big citys he also went to rural America and did very well, he knew the farmers needed the machines and he also knew they had cash, and he was right,This sign came from one of the first around Detroit During that time.The sign was made by Shonk Works who made toys at that time and banks.They went out in 1925 so no newer than that.Large size at 20 plus inches.Will double box and use wood after bubble wrap.
