are offerding on a handsome matte blue tall Rookwood Art pottery vase dated 1917. A sleek and timeless form, in a harmonious Arts & Crafts aesthetic with stylized embossed floral detail work running around the top lip. Features a handsome matte glaze that has blue and green elements in the coloring. Really a gorgeous vase in an American Arts & Crafts, Prairie School, Mission Oak, American Bungalow aesthetic. -- Measures 6" tall and 9" around the bottom form with a tape measure
In very good condition with no chips - it has crazing in the glaze which appears much more pronounced as photographed in my light box. It also has some discoloration in the lighter areas in the glaze that appear to be in the glaze ~~ All of that said ~ still a sweet little vase with handsome workmanship and an attractive unique matte glaze
