Many Images come below the - - 1920 - BULLE CLOCK - in japanese laquer design - - - Magnet pendulum clock - 1,5 Volt battery - very unique and very rare - for your collection or museum
Please look to the pictures to see the very good optical condition. This historical French clock comes from a private collection and is very clean and in near Mint Condition. The japanese laquer finish was made in some kind like "Scraffito" - technique. There is a theme scratched into the lower layer and then painted onto this -
and then all was varnished. - It is all original of the 1920´s like it was done there in japanese artists tradition. It is a very very unique and rare piece of watchmaking history and is driven by a coil pendulum over a magnet which is powerd for more than one year
with a 1,5 Volt battey cell. Comes with a modern battery holder for common 1,5 Volt cell. This was very revolutionary in 1910 when the first Bulle Clocks were built. This one is from 1920 and running very good.It was high class restored not long ago and the mechanism has been cleaned and oiled once more by a german watchmaker last week.
