Vintage Pink Slip & Navy Blue Silk Scalloped Eyelet Belted Drop Waist Dress

This amazing Art Deco vintage pink slip and navy blue silk scalloped eyelet belted drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer navy blue silk chiffon fabric, with scalloped eyelet embroidery drawn cut work designs on the over dress and a separate pink silk slip lining inside with navy blue trim edging. This fabulous flapper style drop waist dress is loose fitting, with long sleeves, fitted pink trim cuffs, pleated stitching trim along the shoulders, back top, an open front neckline which has snap closures attaching to the inside pink silk lining, an attached belted tie sash, short skirt with scalloped hemline and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 42 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 36 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a tiny hole on the front top shoulder hidden by the slight lapel fold over collar trim. This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
