That said, here goes:This is a Beautiful \"Ideal\" 14K gold filigree overlay (this does not mean it is plated, it is Solid 14K gold over the black housing of the pen) pen by Watermen.
It comes in it\'s original blue flocked box & with original paperwork.
Pen is numbered 552 1/2V.
Circa 1920\'s.
It has a bail so could be hung from a woman\'s châtelaine (if she wore one) or around her neck on a ribbon. I really believe this would have been a woman\'s pen as it is small and fairly thin.
The nib is is great shape too and says: Manifold Waterman\'s Ideal and some numbers below that that I can\'t make out.Preowned in great condition, normal wear as shown.Free Insured Shipping!Ring Size
