1920s Lareine Rex Shoes Double Sided Tin / Iron Flange Advertising Sign:
Rare and original, ca1920's LaReine Rex Shoes, double sided, Flange Advertising Sign. This great Point of Purchase Sign measures approx. 19" by 13" and is made of a medium weight, tin / steel with a lithographed surface. The Sign features identical advertising on both sides that includes wonderful images of two "high top" shoes (one women's and one men's) along with text that reads "Our Own Make / LaReine Rex / $2.50 For Women / $3.50 For Men / B. Rosenberg & Sons".
The Sign is unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period - ca1920's. It is not a reproduction, reissue or later example but guaranteed to have been manufactured in the early 20th century to promote the sale of LaReine Rex Shoes.
This rare and wonderful 1920's LaReine Rex Shoes, Double Sided Flange Sign is in very good to excellent condition. Both sides of the Sign are very attractive with a very minor bend at the upper, outside corner but no other bends, cracks, damage or repairs to the metal. Both sides of the Sign are clean and crisp with no surface oxidation and with only some minor surface rubs at the bend of the flange edge.
