1920's Athens Ohio Steam Laundry Double Sided Tin / Iron Flange Advertising Sign:
Rare and original, ca1920's Athens Steam Laundry, double sided, Flange Advertising Sign. This great Point of Purchase Sign measures approx. 13 1/2" by 10" and is made of a medium weight, tin / steel with what appears to be a lithographed surface. The Sign features identical advertising on both sides that includes text which reads "Agency / Athens Steam Laundry / Athens, Ohio. / Best By Test".
The Sign is unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period - ca1920's. It is not a reproduction, reissue or later example but guaranteed to have been manufactured in the early 20th century to promote the Athens Steam Laundry.
This rare and quite wonderful 1920's Athens Steam Laundry Double Sided Flange Sign is in excellent condition. Both sides of the Sign are very attractive and has no bending, cracks, damage or repairs to the metal. Both sides of the Sign are clean and crisp and show no signs of surface oxidation or significant wear.
