1920s Jim Donaly Wow Classic Hand-painted Predecessor Of Heddon Crazy Crawler For Sale
This 1920s Jim Donaly WOW bait was made in Bloomfield, New Jersey, by one of the most famous of all lure manufacturers. This particular design was later reincarnated into the Heddon classic Crazy Crawler. This WOW has treble hooks and is finished in red back with painted designs and gills on belly, which is one of Donaly's signature colors. Not mint, but a very nice example of an effective lure that was usually fished to death. This one has light wear and minor chipping around line tie (see 12 photos I have provided) and would be a great addition to any collection.
