Vintage Art Deco Abstract Silk Embroidered Clutch Bag Purse
This vintage Art Deco abstract silk embroidered clutch bag purse dates from the 1920s. It is made of ecru, yellow, blue and green silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work done in an abstract Art Deco design pattern. This pretty purse has a clutch envelope style, with a zipper top opening closure, silk lined with an inside pocket. The purse measures 9 1/2 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only some slight wear on the corners. This is truly a wonderful piece of embroidered textile art!
