1928 Gibson Ukulele \"the Gibson\" RARE 17 FRET Uke-1 soprano. NO RESERVE :
$460.00

This is a rare 17 FRET soprano \"the Gibson\" uke-1. 1928 is the only year Gibson made 17 frets on a uke-1 style, which makes it a rare find! (I\'ve never found another 17 FRET uke-1) . Plays and sounds beautiful, just as you would expect from a Gibson. There is very fine hair line crack in the back, which does not affect the warm tone of this instrument. The bridge has a piece broken off, however it still holds the string securely. Mahogany body. 17 fret rosewood fingerboard extends to the soundhole (1928). Black tuner buttons. Overall, it is in great condition for an instrument of its age!It has been a fun instrument to play here in Nashville! Included soft case from Gruhn\'s Guitars and an extra set of Ko\'olau Gold strings. !Signature required for delivery. Or free local pick-up.
