Much sought after by collectors, and for good reason! Kay made professional grade guitars in the 30\'s with flamey wood and impeccable build quality.Rarer 14th fret joint version of a stellar wide V shapped, Stromberg-Voisinet neck. Bigger body and more resonate than the Kay Venetian model. Thick bass tones and wider response than the more common smaller body version you find.Frets are in really good shape, the fretboard has more wear than frets (that appear to be original, & seriously hard steel).
Action is set very low. Neck-reset?!? This will never need a neck reset! Check out the Stromberg-Voisinet tilt neck info you can find below. Awesome tech for1930. It\'s a great player, only thing I would do is put a slotted bridge and put the original in a safe place. The original intonates surprisingly well, but the low E string will slide a little if you bang on it real hard. However, you could just notch the original... but I\'ll leave that up to the new owner.
