1930's Putz Village Coconut Houses-one With Santa Figure-vg Cond-estate Finds-nr:
Up for sale are 2 Vintage 1930's Putz Village Houses which are called Coco's. The Coconut finish on these is Shredded Cellophane and that was used on some of the houses they made back then. There is a large Church, and Santa in front of his House. The larger one is 4 3/4" tall and is 6 1/2" long. The one with the Santa figure is 4 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" long. Both are marked on the bottom Made in Japan. There is some damage to these from age wear. The cellophane windows in the church need to be replaced, and there is a spier on the back that is missing. The one with the Santa is pretty good because it only has a tiny tear in the front rail which could be easily glued and repaired. Both are very sturdy and do retain, quite of bit of their Coconut Finish. They are very bright and colorful and really would make a Nice addition to any Christmas village display. Both have a hole in the back for the light to be added in. They are both being sold in "As Found" vintage Condition. So, if you have questions, make sure you ask before you offer if you are not sure. Lucky winner to pay SH. Payment must reach me within 2 days from the close of the sale with Paypal Only.
I will send an Invoice to the winning buyer. Thanks for looking and have a nice day.
