Description:This vintage 1930s composition notebook is unused and the front and rear covers show photographs and descriptions focused on Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd\'s Antarctic Expedition between 1928-1930.The notebook is brown, black and white in color.The notebook is bound with two staples.No. 1 Picture on front cover shows Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd dressed in furs and holding the Stars and Stripes and the stone taken from the grave of Floyd Bennett, Both of which he dropped on his flight over the South Poles.
The back cover has a summary of The Byrd Antarctic Expedition: 1928-1930.
This is a great piece of historical memorabilia.Size:Measures approximately 8.25\" x 6.75\"
Condition:Good - Creasing to corners of covers. Torn (missing) corner on bottom right front cover. Tear at top rear cover of book. Spine is torn from top down about 2.\" Slight yellowing around edges of interior pages but they are unused.Please see photos for a more detailed visual description of the item.
