Check it out...Here's a classic 6" wide by 3" tall B&W cardboard ink blotter from 1930s Queens, New York with a coattail reference to President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Blotter pictures the candidate & reads: "Elect Charles S. Colden Borough President of Queens. Capable. Conscientious. Clean. Appointed District Attorney of Queens by Governor Roosevelt in 1932. He was good enough for Roosevelt, and he is good enough for us. He stands squarely for President Roosevelt's principles and ideals of government." on front-Blotter is in good condition with the usual light wear expected from normal use and age.
