1930s Mills "thunderbird" Qt Slot Machine For Sale
This is a 1930s Mills "Thunderbird" or "Firebird" QT slot machine, in nickel denomination. Nice original non-restored condition. It plays well, and pays out correctly, including the jackpot. The paint is all original, and the black painted wood cabinet is also correct and original for this machine. The reel strips are rather dark, and the black cross symbol on the center reel is damaged, but the strips are original and match the rest of the machine's condition, so I wouldn't replace them. The payout card is also nice original. The mechanism has minor surface rust, but again, plays very well, the reels spin well, and the jackpot pays out correctly. On jackpot, this machine dumps coins from either the left or right window, the next play closes the jackpot, and the next jackpot hit will pay out of the other window, which allows the chance for the jackpot to be re-filled as the machine is being played. There are some splits in the wood cabinet as shown, the base, and one of the top corners. The front lock and key are original, but the back door lock is a replacement. The cash box is a nice original, complete with bale wire handle and the spring loaded trap door on top. Priced for a sure sale. offer now on this good working, great original machine!
