1930s Pre-war Britains Dealer Trade Catalogs For Gardening And Model Home Farm:
Two original dealer catalog type lists from the 1930s, one showing Britains Miniature Gardening and the other, Model Home Farm. I recall something like these from my Great Book of Britains, which I don't have handy, but they are likely pretty rare. Both are in very good condition, complete and unmarked. The Model Home Farm has a fold-out showing "Easy Reference Table of Prices of Bulk Lines." Unpaginated, about 22 pages plus the fold-out. Lavishly illustrated with photos and drawings. The Gardening catalog also has a price list, although not a fold-out. Includes a foreward with a little essay on the product, ending with a quatrain from the Gurney poem. Many, many drawings and diagrams, many of which I haven't seen in any other source, Unpaginated, about 30 pages. These show some wear at the edges and corners, and some age-related discoloration. The staples are a little rusty, but there is no odor that I can detect other than mild old paper. I'm not a book collector so I won't attempt to grade these, but they appear almost unused -- the inside pages are still glossy. I will pack properly for shipment. Please e-mail with any questions. I will combine items for reduced shipping costs. Return if not as advertised and I will pay for postage both ways, or for any other reason, buyer to pay postage. This will be shipped USPS priority mail insured, unless the item sells for less than $20.Just wait for my invoice. International buyers will pay actual postage charge. Payment by PayPal or any other approved method of your choice. Please note I will be out of town until April 25 so items won't ship until the following week. I'll be listing some other interesting sets over the next couple of days.
