A true one of the kind pen set by Pelikan. The pens are not marked Pelikan aside on the case, and are not to be found in any catalog or literature we have, as we suspect these to be some special order or a prototype. The facts that suggest that these are Pelikan pen is the case in which the pens originally came in; the pouch is exact size/shape to hold these two pens, obviously made for this set; the two straps within the pouch are exact width/wide to hold the pens; these straps are made out of leather and are not stretchable. The case is clearly very old, genuine leather marked "Pelikan" on the inside. Aside from this, the case does not fit any Pelikan 100/n, 400/n/nn, or pencils 350/450 or other known vintage Pelikan pen set. So again, it's quite obvious the case was made exactly for these two pens. Another aspect suggesting these are Pelikan pens is the form factor/design and also the first piston mechanism, which was patent of Pelikan and was not used by other companies until later. All of this is purely an observation based on our experience, and we believe to be correct, however if you have any information please share it with us and we will gladly post it in the listing. The only visible marking on the fountain pen is a "20S" mark under the sleeve. The pens are sold as is, as we don't repair or restore pens, the pens are nonfunctional, with defects and issues, and are needing a complete restoration, so again this is sold as is only for restoration purpose. The issues are as follows... The fountain pen has the body sleeve slit on two places, approximately 5mm each, has small deformation on the thread and has both sleeves loose. However there are no cracks or dings. The piston is perfectly functional, all parts, also it has no cracks, chips or any other. The feed is flat, very old style ebonite build. The mechanical pencil has detached/broken lower section (needs fixing), all parts are there and its perfectly functional, twist mechanism with a rod inside pushing a the lead out, has no cracks or dings. Both pens have all original parts inside and out, and need only fixes, basically regular restoration process, not needing new parts. These were bought from an old antique shop almost 20 years ago, and the pens are clearly made in 1920's-1930's. The nib has one of the first know nib markings, (please see pictures) and such a nibs were also fitted on some Montblanc fountain pens from 1930's. The nib is extremely flexible, EF size but will write up to BB (the pen was only dipped in ink). Truly amazing pens and amazing build.

your personality and style on the paper. Fountain pens also greatly
