This sale is for a letter typed on a typewriter and signed by President Franklin D Roosevelt in 1934. It is on White House Washington stationary and was mailed in a White House envelope. Unfortunately I can't make a phone call & get someone over here to verify this like they do on Pawn Stars!! The signature to me looks like it was done with a fountain pen and has faded over the years a little. I don't know how to tell for sure about the signature nor do I have the means to send it somewhere...so you the collectors will have to be the judge on this one. The stationary is bi old and as shown where the letter is types is 9" by 7". Be sure to see all the photos to see the content, the signature and the post mark on the envelope.
