1937 Antique Wood Clarion Tombstone Tube Radio Model 320 Jr Nice Art Deco Radio:
© AP6.0 You are offerding on an antique 1937 CLARION TOMBSTONE tube radio, model 320 "JR". This beautiful unit looks to be in good condition, only issues I see is some missing veneer here and there but not too bad, (see pictures). It may need a simple fix to it like a tube, cap, resistor, antenna wire, etc... because when tested all I got was static but there is indeed life to the set. This radio measuresapprox. 11" long by 14" tall by 8"wide. It is made out of wood, center front window dial with escutcheon, upper cloth grille with cut outs, 3 knobs, BC, 5 tubes, AC set. I have added 7 enlarge/zoom pictures for all to see the quality of this set. This is avery nice art deco era Clarion brand tube radioand would make a great addition to any collection, it would also make a very nice gift idea as well. WE SHIP WORLD WIDE. Shipping in Cont. USA is $29.80 via fed ex. Shipping overseas is approx. $109.80 via priority mail (overseas buyers please get exact shipping quote because of the size & weight of this radio if that is an issue with you). Shipping is so expensive because this radio weighs approx 16-17 lbs unboxed and with packing & box it will up to another 10-15 lbs. CANADA IS NOT 'OVERSEAS' ON SHIPPING. IT IS CHEAPER TO SHIP TO CANADA THAN OVERSEAS QUOTE, ($84.80 to Canada). We tend to over box our radios to help assure you a safe delivery. I am running several tube radios as well as tubes this week, buy 2 or more sales and save on shipping where poss. WE DO NOT MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING. If shipping is less than quoted, we will give a refund after item is shipped for the difference. Post office, FedEx and UPS have raised the rates on shipping, this is not my fault, please do not take this out on me when leaving response on low DSR for shipping. Attn. buyers: All of our radios are sold for historical & display purposes. We do not test them to see if they work or not (unless stated in the sale description), it seems that most of our radios do indeed work because we try and purchase only the nicer radios, not the junk sets, and if that is the case then that is a bonus to you. We have found over the years that most buyers like to "tinker" with these antique radios and 'bring them back to life' and this gives them the satisfaction of being able to do so if they do not work. Thank you for looking and happy offerding!!!
