YOU ARE offerDING AN ORIGINAL 1939 PRE-WAR HORNET "60R-C" TETHER CAR ENGINE WITH HORNET MAGNETO. THIS ENGINE IS SAND CAST WITH RINGED PISTON, REAR ROTARY, VENTURI MACHINED FROM BRASS STOCK. SERIAL NUMBER (618) STAMPED ON BOTH FRONT AND BACK OF ENGINE CASE. HAS A 3/8"-24 SPARK PLUG. APPROXIMATELY 250 PRODUCED WITH 3/8-24 PLUG. THIS ENGINE WAS PRODUCED WITH THE ADDED DOWEL PIN HOLE IN MOUNTING LUGS FOR RACE CAR USE. EXCELLENT WITH VERY GOOD COMPRESSION.THANKS FOR LOOKING !
