1939 Pelikan Drp 101n Lizard Cobra Fountain Pen Gold Nib 14k Chrome Trim Clip For Sale
Hello dear friends, today for sale~a rare antique 1937-1939? or early German
Pelikan 101N lizard (cobra) pattern fountain pen. Complete lizard skin finish,
sleeve, cap and cap top. Chrome metal trim, clip and cap rings. 1938 Pelikan
logo on cap top with clear water lake, also engraved ''DRP Pelikan DRP Pelikan''
on it. It is hard to take a photo of engravings but they in good state, no paint
preserved. The pen is made of celluloid with dark brown ink barrel. Piston
working smooth, not tested with ink but the cork looks like complete.
Cosmetically in very good condition in my opinion, no cracks and deep scratches
on the all pen. This is a used pen and showing only minor imperfection a small
wearing point 3mm. on black filling mechanism knob at the top, see photos. The
pen using Pelikan 585 14 karats gold nib. The size of the nib is not marked
possibly F size. The nib is flexible and in good state minor wear of iridium,
see photos. I'm not a specialist with fountain pens and do my best for
