This is an absolutely great looking 1940 - 1948 Chevrolet Windshield Washer Unit. It is an original Chevrolet accessory. On a scale of 1 -10, I would rate this accessory as a 9. It is Chevrolet Group # 8.798 and Chevrolet Part # 986041. As you can see from the photos, it is in excellent condition. The glass is solid with NO chips and NO breaks. The mounting bracket appears to be cadmium plated from the factory. It shows some wear in the cadmium plating but still presents itself quite nicely. The brass pick-up tube is blemish free. The GM Automatic Windshield Washer decal is reproduction, as the original decal had fallen off of this unit. It doesn\'t get much better than this.
