Funny story ... I bought this beautiful piece at an estate/yard sale. The people were old and rich. They were getting rid of things because they were moving (likely into a retirement home). I picked up this piece which was very heavy (almost 4 lbs.) and asked the gentleman how much it was? He yelled at his wife \"how much is this ashtray, Darling?\" She responded \" that is not an ashtray ... it is a work of art\'. He looked at me and smiled. then he said \" I\'ve always used it as an ashtray\".
6 3/8\" by 4 3/8\" by 2 1/2\" in a rather lop-sided biomorphic way.
