There is nothing like a solid run of success, particularly in the notoriously fickle toy industry. For a company like medium-sized Daisy, their profitable Buck Rogers streak would be profound enough to ultimately characterize the company’s 1930’s efforts.

By the 1940’s, Daisy was marketing a complete set of Buck-inspired sparkling ray guns, though the line was clearly getting a little long in the tooth.

So designers integrated this stylish and clearly Western-influenced holster featuring Buck artwork and typography in custom-tooled leather. As most period leather has by now disintegrated—without the power of ray guns—finding fine examples such as this is highly uncommon.

This rare and complete gun and holster set includes it all! The pistol snaps flawlessly when the trigger is pulled, it has great compression, and sparks brilliantly every single time.

Overall, this set is in pristine condition.

As I indicated previously, the gun is the blued version and it still pops. The tabs are all there. The holster is EXCELLENT PLUS and has a few small flaws, not easily seen. THE PICTURES ARE ACCURATE. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET! The tie down tassels are still there and the holster graphics are great.
