William Spratling. Sterling silver necklace, each of the necklace\'s three suspended ribbon hoops 11/4\" x 1 1/2\" (slightly flattened discs), the silver globe suspendedfrom each hoop approximately 1/4\" diameter, the double-strand chain fromwhich the hoops are suspended 13 1/2\" long (hanging length 6 3/4\";approximately 5\" in diameter when closed), the chain\'s loop clasp withretractable pin release. The screw-back earrings are identical in size to theribbon hoops with silver globes found on the necklace and marked in the same wayon the reverse. The reverse of two hoops with impressed, \"Spratling Made in Mexico\" encircling animpressed \"WS,\" the reverse of the third hoop with impressed \"Spratling Silver\" within an oval depression.Minor superficial wear, otherwise in fine condition. On one of the earrings, thescrew post is missing the end finger disks and one jump link is open (evident in photographs). The \"WS Print Circle\" mark here was used by thedesigner from1940 to 1946; the \"Spratling Silver\" mark was usedfrom 1940 to 1944.
