This is an interesting French"Echo de La Mode" magazine/newspaper of fashion printed in Paris in1948 no. 14 including a mini pattern for a chic dress.
The patterns require enlarging-the writing is very small-and gives brief instructions in French on how to make up.
The 16 coulour and black and white illustrated pages of the magazine include different dresses, outfits, accessories,recipes,stories, advertisements. The theme of the magazine is a girls first Communion and includes outfits and tips for the ceremony. The pages are slightly yellowed. About20 dresses/outfits in total are illustrated, but the actual patterns for these are not included.
