1940's Steinbach Christmas Santa Thorens Music Box Orig Box Western Zone Germany For Sale

...an unusual find! late 1940's Steinbach Christmas
music box featuring Santa Claus & his burlap bag of toys --
with it's original box! -- plays "Stille Nacht" (Silent Night) very sweetly
(Thorens movement), stamped "Made in Germany, Western Zone",
has foil Steinbach Germany chimney sweep sticker,
as well as the paper Thorens label -- 4-3/4" wide, turns on
1-3/4" wooden base, has metal on-off push-pull knob...paint is crazed & chipped off some leaving
a cool, shabby appearance -- a bunny ear is missing,
as is a small tree, several tips of the tree are missing --
paint isn't currently flaking -- heavy stapled 8-3/4" x 5-1/4"
tag boardstorage box is clean & odor free & has great graphics
including the original paper label & inner packaging --
