Vintage rubber bobble head Donald Duck night light that works. See 2nd and 3rd photo.

This piece was manufactured in 1940s, and it is very rare to find these lights in good working order without damage from children.

The night light version I am offering was produced originally in Japan in the 1940s with the knob on the base in front of Donald\'s feet.

Later in the 1950s similar versions were produced and modified with the switch being moved to the rear and side of the base.

In the 1970s Israel manufactured these lights that look similar to the 1940s model and are obviously newer.

The piece I have for sale is clean, the cord and plug are in safe working order, no fraying no damage.

Donald\'s head can swivel and as it is obvious in the photos he can be popped apart for a bulb change.

The condition of the light however has the aging that is typical of rubber, which is some fading, plus some owner in Donald\'s past did not follow the instructions on the base stating not to exceed the maximum wattage of the bulb to be used.

Donald has some discoloration near his bow tie due to the heat of the higher wattage bulb, please see all the pictures.

The piece is pristine for its age and considering that it was originally manufactured for the use in a child\'s room using a lightbulb.

This is a sweet piece of 1940s Americana.

I hope Donald finds a home with similar vintage pieces of the 40s of the Disney family.
