template 1941 Press Photo Students operating the lathe machine at Spokane Trade School
This is an original press photo. Maybe it's simple as ABC to run a lathe, but the curriculum of the new Spokane Trade School in the old Hawthorne building has a lot more than the ABCs. The school board planned the school to train ambitious youths for employment in skilled occupations. The young men pictured here are Arnold Peterson and Paul Sievers, working on a lathe, drilling and tapping steel. Instruction is planned in many trades. Photo measures 8.5 x 6inches. Photo is dated 01-16-1941.This vintage photograph is offered for sale as a collectible item and conveys no transfer of copyright.
